FOREWORD

This Manifesto is a pledge I have made to you. It was put together through individuals in our community, just like yourself, who shared their thoughts. It is my change proposal, and it does not end here. Your recommendation, your voice is needed, and your actions will help us achieve our KOMBO SOUTH goals.

BE THE CHANGE

Hope, development, and accountability are the themes of my campaign. The activities, programs, and ethos of the Kombo South Constituency will be championed on these pillars.

There would be no change without HOPE, and it is my hope for a prosperous future for all of Kombo South that drives me to commence by cultivating a culture of hope and optimism via community activities within the Kombo South Constituency.

True leadership is built on accountability; our leaders are voted in by the people and must respond to them. I will be a real People's Representative, speaking up on behalf of my constituency and assuring that you are constantly kept informed well about decisions being presented in parliament, while advocating openness in all I do.

Every community's foundation is development, and the Kombo South Constituency will serve as a model of how community development can

benefit people's lives. I will encourage and support projects driven by individuals within our varied community to discover answers to the difficulties we face, from community gardeners to affluent company owners (and everyone in between).

It's time to dare to dream, to advocate HOPE, and to reclaim our constituency one task at a time. My vision for Kombo South is BIG, BOLD, and AMBITIOUS, but I believe that if we all get together and do our bit, we can create the community we would like to see.

The time has come for you and me to make the Kombo South Constitution a home to be proud of. We are the ones who are making the difference. Let's get this part of the process started right now. Make the change you want to see in our community by being the change you want to see in it.

HOPE

The essential concept of every community project is "I am my brother's keeper." The key to improving our community will be to foster a feeling of cooperation and to provide a secure and enjoyable environment in which to live and raise our children. This is a concept that is deeply rooted in our culture. In order to support our community, we will enlist the help of institutions, recreation centres, social clubs, and volunteer groups. We'll also cultivate a civic engagement culture to encourage residents and leaders to talk about issues that affect everyone.

We have already identified a significant amount of participants who will contribute various community initiatives. We want to cultivate the value of service over entitlement in our youth in particular. This is how we intend to engage individuals and communities in our constituency.

We will support:

• Community volunteer programs such as street and beach clean-ups and local gardening are held on a monthly basis.
• Mentorship programs (Big Brother/Big Sister)
• Launching a monthly community fair designed to bring neighbourhood together.
• To enhance conversation between ourselves and the police, we will welcome the police commissioner of our constituency to our town hall. We'll also educate communities on their rights while dealing with the police and also provide legal counsel if those rights are violated.
• We will form resident representative groups that will be able to negotiate on behalf of our community.
• We'll look at the concept of communal boreholes.

Kombo South Constituency is blessed with several prospects for growth and development. It is already a thriving community with a diverse range of schools, companies, farmers/gardeners, civil societies, and the fishing sector. This diversified group of institutes offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to create initiatives and programs that will help the constituency grow while utilising the resources we currently have.

In the next five years, our community growth will be focused on the following important areas:

• Women & Youth Empowerment
• Environmental Awareness
• Tourism Industry
• Agriculture (Gardeners/Farmers in our Constituency)
• Infrastructure Expansion and Improvement in Kombo South

Women & Youth Empowerment

Gender Equality – I will advocate for equal rights for men and women. Economic empowerment for women is a foundation for building just and sustainable communities because women are often at a disadvantage due to discrimination based on their gender.

 In order to overcome deficiency and inequality, we place a specific emphasis on empowering women and girls in all aspects of life in Kombo South Constituency. This includes effectively involving men and boys in the rebuilding of gender-equal relationships.

Youth Empowerment: In Kombo South Constituency, we will develop an award scheme to recognise young women and men who achieve in a variety of disciplines like as education, entrepreneurship, agriculture, sports, advocacy, and organisations. The prizes will be presented to young women and men as individuals or groups at the district and regional levels, as part of an annual Youth Festival to be held at district and regional levels.

Youth Empowerment: In Kombo South Constituency, we will develop an award scheme to recognise young women and men who achieve in a variety of disciplines like as education, entrepreneurship, agriculture, sports, advocacy, and organisations. The prizes will be presented to young women and men as individuals or groups at the district and regional levels, as part of an annual Youth Festival to be held at district and regional levels.

Football tournaments - Recreational activities for all are available in a decent community. All citizens of the Kombo South Constituency will be able to participate in yearly football knockout events. Let's get to know each other throughout the huge territory that makes up the Kombo South Constituency and engage in some healthy inter-neighbourly rivalry. 

Mentorships: Having experience in business and entrepreneurship myself I believe the future belongs to the young. One possible way to address youth unemployment is to support young people in creating their own businesses. They have interest and potential to become self-employed. The introduction of the Big Brother/Big Sister mentorship program with established businesses in the community. I am certain that this mentorship program will prepare and guide these young entrepreneurs to develop viable initiatives that may be profitable for both the entrepreneur and the community.

Environmental Awareness

Through school curriculum and leadership training institute programs, the youth will be educated to cherish nature and conserve the very earth that nourishes them. The youngsters will be urged to keep their surroundings tidy. Wildlife and Green Earth clubs, as well as other youth-led groups, will be encouraged and supported.

District and regional Youth Week celebrations will always include town and city clean-ups and tree-planting activities.

Vocational training in material recycling and waste management will be pushed in order to guarantee that more young people find a local source of income while also halting environmental degradation.

Tourism Industry

Tourist development in Kombo South is a priority for me, and I will seize every possibility and incentives ready to help grow this sector in our constituency.

In order to attract tourists, regional specialisation will be emphasised. Special festivals, geophysical characteristics, historical monuments, environmental endowments, and social economic considerations will all be taken into account.

We will develop "Village Tourism," in which specific villages will be themed and a relevant development plan will be established. Infrastructure, culinary assets, architecture, and capacity will all be addressed in the strategy.

Create a unique incentive to attract certain investments, such as hotels, guesthouses, mixed-use projects, villas, cafes, attractions/tours, tourist markets, sea sports, and yachting services.

Agriculture (Gardeners/Farmers)

Agriculture is an important role in eliminating poverty, providing jobs, and producing money, according to the National Peoples Party government. Agriculture, according to our party, is a critical tool in Kombo South's drive for long-term growth, particularly in rural regions and the overall economy. In this respect, we would encourage a commercialises and entrepreneurial approach to farming and fishing, as well as create the conditions for local gardeners/farmers, fishermen, and the private sector to actively engage in the sector's growth.

Expanding and Improving Infrastructure

When road and infrastructure development and poverty reduction are studied together, a symbiotic relationship can be formed. Working with local councils to promote investment in road and infrastructure development for the constituency will be a top priority for me if elected. Road and infrastructure development is advantageous not just to businesses, but also to the constituency as a whole. Investment in roads and infrastructure stimulates economic growth indirectly, and the building and maintenance of roads and other infrastructure directly creates jobs.

ACCOUNTABILITY

In politics, especially, leadership requires humility as every voice must be heard and every question must be answered.

I believe in accessible and accountable leadership; leaders who advocate on behalf of their constituents rather than the desires of their party; and leaders who represent the needs of the many rather than the few. Respect for leaders, in my opinion, must be earned rather than imposed. It is not a profession to be a leader. It's not a way to get a pay check. It's a price to pay. It's all about service. It is for the benefit of your people. 

It is past time for a new leadership style that is inclusive, transparent, and dedicated to the people.

My leadership commitment is to:

• Listen more – talk less

• Use existing laws Use existing laws to compel central and local governments to keep commitments made to our constituents, particularly in the area of service delivery (water, refuse collection, clinics and electricity).

• Have a permanent office in the Constituency, open to all.

• Hold quarterly meetings in our constituency so you may speak with your MP personally. The goal of these town hall gatherings is to have a two-way conversation. We'll give you an update on legislative business and ask for your feedback on proposed legislation. This will also be a chance for you to bring forward any concerns that you believe should be considered or remedied at a national level that impact our community.

• Collaborate with the central government, businesses, and civic society organisations to secure the greatest deals for inhabitants of Kombo South Constituency.

CONCLUSIONS

It is up to you and me to rise up and be counted if this plan is to work. In order for Kombo South Constituency to become a constituency we can be proud of, we must all do our part. We must all rise above our indifference, pull up our sleeves, and be the change we want to see in our communities.

When you elect me as your next Member of Parliament, I pledge to carry out this manifesto. I will not violate my reputation, my integrity, or your confidence. I will always adhere to the greatest ethical standards and support my community's ideals.
